Hi,

in the Danube riverlands near Vienna I found these two flies - are they both Scatella (tenuicosta)?
I can only recall that the second specimen appeared very tiny to me.

Both Scatella. The first one is rather brown, and could be stagnalis. The second is lacustris (=tenuicosta)
