Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Priocnemis propinqua or Dipogon variegatus

Yesterday at La Alfranca, Aragon, Spain.
Habitat: sub-urban fields, near the city. In Foeniculum vulgare flowers.
Size: about 12-13 mm long.
Curious white spot in the black wings.

Certainly a pompylid but difficult to say which it might be.

right. This is Pompiliidae. Pronotum touchs tegula.

Most probably it is Priocnemis propinqua, but Dipogon variegatus is also not excluded (both Pompilidae).
