Dear fly lovers! I am working on a short contribution about Micropeza lateralis distribution. There are big gaps for this species in Fauna Europaea. Up to now, I found sources for these countries: Denmark, France, Germany, Portugal, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Andorra, Spain and Czech Republic.
If you have sources from other countries (Switzerland? Poland? Austria? Baltic counttries? Ireland?), I would highly appreciate posting the references or papers themselves.
Best wishes and thanks in advance!

No-one for you in Austria but this is on Switzerland:

I've studied the distribution in Europe.
Details at
http://micropezid...my/term/38 where you will find literature sources listed (contact me if you want copies) and map of countries compiled from these + Fauna Europaea.
Additionally I'm in the process of compiling checklists for all the European countries (
http://micropezid...o/node/319) where you'll find details of the evidence for its presence.
I too have difficulty in locating any Austrian dipterists (or checklists), I've tried the Natural History Museum in Wien without success.
