Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ephydridae from Romania

Hi,

again from the same park (Defileul Jiului). edge of beech (Fagus) forest, close to a valley.
this was seen on a wall.
i think this is a chloropid. small size ~3mm (maybe less).

sorry for the lack of quality.

for me is very alike the earlier Oscinella posted here (and two the gallery).

can bee saying more?

It is Ephydridae, Gymnomyzinae as far as I know...

is very alike this Athyroglossa glabra from gallery.
i have to check but i think the exemplary was collected.

I'd agree with Ephydridae, and it certainly looks like Athyroglossa - possibly ordinata - can't see quite enough detail. :|
