* locality - Almaceda - Castelo Branco - PORTUGAL
* date - 2007.09.09
* size - 5 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - woodland
* substrate - on ground

Melanophora has just 1 species in Europe. This does not look like roralis, the wing pattern is markedly different.

Right. And since the calyptra is large, it's a Tachinid.

Wagneriini, with a key I just might get even further.
Difficult group, though.
