Hi there everybody,

I'm photographing like every fly in my garden now (getting pretty enthousiastic now!):D

Not every picture is as clear as I want it to be though.
Par example..... :(

But.......... who is it?

Possible Coenosia (tigrina) - Muscidae.

I agree with Stephan. Coenosia sp. (?) possibly.

Thank you both. Coenosia seems very common in my little garden. I think several different species... is this possible?

There may be quite a few species of Coenosia in your garden, but several anthomyiid females can look very similar also. The photo does look like tigrina. It is the "bull-terrier" of this genus - most of the other species are more delicate.
