For some reason, this medium-sized asilid had its wings open, revealing its abdomen. I hope this picture is enough to identify it! From Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Aspidopyga cophuroides Carrera, male. A lateral view would be best, to see unique arrangement of apical spurs/ macrosetae on anterior four tibiae; colors in dorsal view +/- diagnostic... Please add to gallery!
