Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Another beauty

Taken today at Valladares-Vigo (Spain). The specimen sized about 8 mm. on a damp field stalked on Polygonium, fens, pine & eucaliptus in the area at al antitude of 325 mts.

Calliphoridae > Rhiniinae > Stomrohina lunata.

they are very common in Asteraceae flowers, and Mentha spp. for example. :)

Ahh, so that's what Stomorina lunata looks like. There were even a few records for the UK in recent years. This one must go in the gallery!
