Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae: Dufouria chalybeata => confirmed

I have keyed out this small (5mm), black, male fly as Dufouria chalybeata. As I have not seen this species before I would be grateful for confirmation.

On Hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) flowers, grazing marsh, south Essex, England, 14 June 2017.

That is totally OK.

Here in western Europe, D. chalybeata is the only species of Dufouria I see.
I am always surprised that the old authors all knew nigrita and occlusa, I have never seen the latter and nigrita only from tropical destinations as Mongolia.
