Hi there everybody,
I've seen this wasp (and many more like it) in my garden more than once this year. I know there are many species similar to this one, but I would much appreciate a positive ID for him/her.
Can anyone help?

Eumenidae. some authors put this wasp as Vespidae (family) and Eumeninae (subfamily). But it seems now that Eumenidae is a proper family. Christian can say more. :)

Thanks Jorge!
Eumenidae seems reasonable.;)

Eumeninae is a subfamily in the familiy Vespidae for current literature. The present species most probable is Ancistrocerus trifasciatus (but not for 100%).

Hi Christian,
Thanks for the ID, eventhough it's not 100%.
