This specimen was smaller, about 7 mm, Taken also today in Las Gandaras de Budi?o (Pontevedra) Spain.-
Marshland meadow, with abundant Salix spps.-

A species of Myopa I think, but I can't tell you from this picture what species.

Yes, it helps a bit. It seems the wings are clear, the scutellum is black and the face is totally white/ yellow.
That would leave Myopa fasciata or Myopa occulta. It seems the mouthparts are quite short, so I would go for Myopa occulta, but that is not a 100 % ID! :D

I doubt that this is Myopa occulta. Myopa occulta has much more darker thorax.
And M. occulta as far as I know doesn?t have stripes on thorax?...

This looks like Myopa fasciata to me. Definitely not occulta
