Not sure if this belongs to that family. Found Wet Marsh/Reedbed, Oxon, England. September.

Top fly is
Coenosia cf.
humilis
Botttom fly is
Hylemya species (Anthomyiidae).

Hi Stephane, just curious and to learn something: why do you think it might be
Coenosia humilis and not the common
Coenosia tigrina?

From this angle of view, the femora seemed very dark, till the apex, but now, zooming the picture, it seems I can guess an orange apex to femur 3. So I not regret my "cf." and you are probably right. ;)
