Hello,
Still in Savoy (France), 2007/7/27, 1750 m above sea level, size 8-10mm.
It looks like a Scathophagidae, but with yellow antennas and this curious grey elongated spot on the fore leg.
Any clue? Thanks in advance.

Grey mark on front femora and plumose arista =
S lutaria.

My test arista is bare, and it is Scathophaga furcata (Say):)

Do you think so? It's a bit difficult to see, but I thought there was a certain fuzziness around the arista, which I took to be plumosity. Also that very strong and defined grey mark on the femur I thought was more likely to be lutaria. Doesn't
furcata tend to have a 'softer' looking mark?

Well, here is the best I can get from the arista. For me, it is not bare.
