Taken at Las Chanas (Zamora) Spain, late July 2007. In cultivated fields at 650 mts. of calcareous soil.
Size aprox. 6 to 7mm. I beleive it is a common and voracious species, as its not the first time I've seen them hunting and devouring its prey avidly.
Help once again appreciated.

Muscidae, Coenosia?

You make splendid pictures, by the way. Well in focus, good depth. Just excellent. :D

Coenosia sp. to me too. :D

Is Coenosia the only muscid one that predates?? Are there more any muscids that can predate besides the Coenosia sp. ? :)
