Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Why is Peleteria varia (Tachinidae) not in the Gallery?

I photographed and identified (at least I hope so)
Peleteria varia and searched for confirmation in the Diptera Gallery. I was surprised the species is missing there.
Is there some reason for it? Are there some other species to be confused? I thingthat the antenas of Peleteria varia are quite distinctive, as well as the pattern on abdomen. In the Forum, the pictures of this species are present for many years. What is behind?
I thank for answers in advance

I am no specialist but following the key I would say you are right about
varia. That it is not in the Gallery is due to the fact that no-one ever submitted it. If a specialist confirms uour ID it will be added. :)

Thank you both.
Hm, I considered this species "easy" :|
I will add the pictures unless you do it yourselves. I will have to reduce the file size.

THe perk of being an admin is that I can add attachments without resizing them. :) Only visible when you click the karger image in the gallery, though. So I added them from the attachments and deleted you submissions. I apologize for the work you did that was not necessary.
