Hello,
Im new to this forum, I usually deal with lepidoptera, but from time to time I have the pleasure to take some pictures from diptera which also atracts me in some manner.
The picture was taken at Requejo de Sanabria (Zamora) Spain 1.000 mts abv sea level. Insect was found in a semi-dry meadow near an oak wood (basically Q.pyrenaica) next to a mountain stream, early July 2007.-
Thanks in advance.-

Gymnosoma for sure but it doesn't show enough to know which species :)
