... just a second "behind a horse" i saw this green trio:
Germany / Rheinland-Pfalz: B?chelberg, VI.2007

I wasn?t able to catch a specimen and no perfect photo,
but perhaps a common "guest" and a new pic for the gallery?
Thanks for any hints
Frank

Hi Frank.
It is Muscidae of genus Eudasyphora.
I'm affraid more precise ID is impossible:
1. We can't see details of mid tibia chaetotaxy
2. I think that genuses Eudasyphora and Dasyphora are problematic even with all chaetotaxy
So, so far Eudasyphora sp.

Thank you very much, Nikita,
it was just a shot while oberserving some beetles. Next time I will collect some specimen from the fly swarms ;-)
Best regards
Frank
