Hello,
This fly parasited a Melitaea celadussa caterpillar collected in the field feeding on Digitalis purpurea in a meadow in a woodland area in Vigo (NW Spain) on April 2017 at 250 mts., asl.
Would be grateful for identification.

Hi Rafael, We'd really need more angles of this very interesting material.
please understand there are 500+ species of Tachinidae in Spain !

Hi Theo,

Thnks for yr post and will be glad to provide you with pictures from other angles.
I am traveling now, but I have kept the fly and as soon as I come back I will revert with more pictures.
