Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Numerous Muscids at forestborder (30.04.-06.05.17) --> Polietes domitor

Hello,

these 7 mm Muscidae could be found on nearly every leaf at the forest border (northwest Germany). 99% of them were males, on dozens of photos taken I found only one female. Are these flies Polietes domitor?

Thanks a lot, Stéphane! They look so different than their bigger "brother" Polietes lardarius...
