Location: Midwest Sweden (Dalsland)
Date: 2007-JUL-15
Habitat: Resting on
Syringa vulgaris
I'm waiting for our swedish book about Syrphidae so I have no literature on this family yet. Sorry to bother you with these common Eristalis species, but is this a male
Eristalis interrupta?

I probably ought to get that. Any idea if that is any better than
Danmarks Svirrefluer? I guess there might have been some new information since 1994. In danish it is possible to understand some words, but finnish is totally unintelligible (for me).
