Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Blue Calliphorid, 7 mm

Hello!

This one resembles that from this thread:

I would say it's a Calliphora, but it was only 6-7 mm, considerably smaller than the also present Lucilia sp.! It came to sugar water in our garden yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks, Theo! I had Melinda here recently, but this one did not seem to match those finds exactly.

Frons clearly narrower than ocellular triangle and palps translucent yellowy-brown = M gentilis - or is that stretching things tooooooo far? :p
