I've found in Zool Museum this fly collected in Kursk region, Streletskaya step, 26 May 1963. Fly is in bad condition.
Could it be ID?

Locally quite common in steppe regions, at least of Russia and Ukraine. I collected in Voronezh.

Fly was eated by somebody in 90-th, when oil was cheap.
Now we stopped eat flies;)
