Thread subject: Diptera.info :: artifact

I caught a few of these while sweeping over grass recently. But can't make out if they are insect eggs or maybe grass seeds. About 1.5mm. Anybody have a suggestion. Townsville, Queensland.

I'd say a seed but not a grass seed.

Looks like Caryophyllaceae, possibly near Silene?
