Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Limoniidae – which genus? > Trichoceridae

I can't find any genus with CuA1 and m-cu reaching d very close to each other & with Rs looking like this.
Seems to be one of the genera not included in the Peeters & Oosterbroek keys > too small, unfortunately I didn't measure it.
Any ideas?

That is because you are looking at Trichoceridae. Probably Trichocera regelationis.

Oh no.... I was so fixated on limoniids I didn't think of anything else. Thanks for the correction!

In addition to the characters used in keys, ocelli and short vein A2, Trichocera have long, tapered antennae.
