I found this larva in my garden (in the East of France) today. Could anyone tell me which family it belongs to ? Thank you.

Looks a bit like some Dasysyrphus species. Don't know which one.

Thank you. Someone told me it also looks like a Paragus sp. larva.

Well, this is not unlikely, for those are similar to Dasysyrphus. You better check it also using Rotherays' key: http://www.dipter...Larvae.pdf

Dear Kristobal
That is strange, in my version there is information on Paragus on p50, 53, 70, 82-83, 105, 140-141. Please check again or else I will send you my version.

Oops. I'm sorry. I don't know why I didn't sea what was written, especially in pages 82-83... I checked my original shots but I'm feared that their resolution is not sufficient to sea the row of setae on the anal segment (or there are no such setae and it is not a Paragus larva...).
