This
Limnophora give me a headache. :@
Unfortunately, I have only this lateral picture, but fly was collected.
Running Gregor et al. key :
2 or setae + 4 ps dc -> couplet 5
5a. Setulae on basal part of R4+5 reaching almost to half distance between radial node and anterior crossvein. -> couplet 6
5b. Setulae on basal part of R4+5 confined to radial node. -> couplet 7
I have already some doubts from here, because I find 3 setulae after radial node, but confined in the basal fifth to distance betwween radial node and r-m crossvein.
If I take couplet 6, I have choice between
L. olympiae and
L. setinerva.
If I take couplet 7, with only 1 post. seta on mid tibia, I have choice between
L. riparia and
L. exuta (ruling out out
L. caesia and
L. pulchripes).
Running d'Assis Fonseca key, it is worse, I can't tell whether profrons is so angular or not, it seems to be intermediate between fig. 10m and 10n !
So, your advices are welcome.
