Hello everyone,

found this machined fly this evening, unfortunately only a rear shot.
The common Tachina fear which frequently can be seen here usually looks a bit different.

The habitat is an inland dune area, and published Tachina species here are Tachina fera and Tachina magnicornis.

Looks very weird, but with only one shot, I am not going to comment in this difficult genus.
