hi flyforum,

Is this fly a Stratiomyidae spec.?
I found it yesterday on leaves in the Amsterdam Forest.
It's got spines on the scutellum!

Does anyone know what kind of Stratiomyidae this is?
size ~6-10mm

Oxycera leonina female (Stratiomyidae) I think.
