Found slumming it in my garden yesterday.Possible to say which one it is? Size about 2mm.

Looks like a
Philygria female, possibly a dark northern form of
vittipennis, but I'd rather see a specimen to be sure.

Better with a sound recording and NO video I think Tony... is the world really ready for...... :S
I have managed to capture some Chloropidae with the old Thomason Yoghurt Pot and Lid System© So I'm sure should I bump into this little fly again I can manage to catch it.
