Hi


* locality - Almaceda - Castelo Branco - PORTUGAL
* date - 2007.07.14
* size - 7 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - with many Cistus ladanifer (w/out flower), Lavandula spp., near small mountains.
* substrate - flower

i thought in Rino as well. But the size..
The fly has a petiole in wing... so perhaps it could be really Rhino.

This is a Rhinophoride.
But it is not Rhinophora because Rhinophora has clear wings and "mouth" protruding.

I think it is Stevenia spec.

As suggested, it's STevenia.
Impossible to give a species name.
