A tachinid - genus
Tachina but I can't say more than that because there are too many similar species in the south :)

Yes, that's the commonest species in north & central Europe but there are many more species - especially in the south and they all look very similar to
T.fera. If you have a specimen then I could try to identify it but there is no comprehensive key to
Tachina in southern Europe :)

Those Tachina's are all very similar.
This is NOT fera, however.
