Hi. Can someone please ID this fly similar to a Bombus species found in a lowland meadow, Glos in the UK at the weekend. Thanks Peter.

should be Villa cingulata
tricky genus - be carefull :-)

one of the more rarer Villa's by the way.
at least on mainland Europe.
