No, it was a photographic excursion. I didn't realize that the especimen could be important.

Ok. It looks like Hypoderma silenus, that is the best I can do!

Oestridae are ALWAYS important !

by the way, the area in which we found it, is a hunting area, with an abundance of deers; no other livestock. I guess it's important

No goats ??

In that case, it is H.diana. I am currenty not at home, so I can't check the literature.

No goats in the whole area. Only deer, an some wild boar, roe deer and rabbits.
