Photographed this 4-5mm slender fly on 24/03/2016 in Still bay, South Africa. An active hunter of other flies / small flying insects by the look of things as I often saw one with a fly of sorts.
Any assistance with the ID would be appreciated.

Similar to
Anaphalantus longicornis in the Muscidae gallery. It may be the female of the species if fore leg ornaments are a sexual character.

Thank you very much John. I found this prior thread showing both a male and female and indeed it seems the front leg ornaments are a sexual characteristic.
