Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Sexually dimorphic flies (female MUCH bigger than male) - Phoridae?

Mating pair, very sexually dimorphic. Someone on Twitter suggested that they could be phorid flies - can anyone comment on that?

Location: forest on the edge of Berlin, Germany

Yes. They are Phoridae. Don't think we'll be able to say much else at this magnification.

Thanks Tony! Sorry about the image quality: flies wouldn't stay still, and my camera isn't great.
