Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Azelia cilipes / nebulosa? 2015-05-13, N. Germany => Azelia cilipes

Hi,

according to the fact that I've never seen a horse in my garden or anywhere around it - and no elephants, too (...but wait, are they nocturnal in Europe?) - this should be most likely Azelia cilipes or A. nebulosa, right? Or is A. triquetra an option, too?
While taking the pictures I had no idea of how important the tarsi could be...unfortunately.
Maybe someone has an answer, though.

Thanks in advance.

It was easy: on your 2nd photo p seta on t2 is clearly visible.

Yeah, I hadn't noticed that A. nebulosa lacks this. But after reading your key again, and this time more carefully, everything's clear, I think.

So this, photographed on 2015-05-30, same place, must be A. cilipes too, right?
