Haven't spotted this one before- any ideas?
Taken yesterday South coast UK about 12mm body length.

Sarcophaga s.l. IMpossible to say more by photo. This is a hell family!! Very... much more than Anthomyiidae. :)

Sarcophagidae, yes, but the fixed abdominal pattern and jizz suggest Macronychia - almost cetainly Macronychia striginervis. Nice fly! - One for the gallery?

Thanks Tony and Jorge for the ID- more than I expected :).
Jizz as in the immediate recognition of a specimen from the briefest of glimpses ? (Wikipedia).
