Hey
3 different larvae of Diptera
The 1st one was catched alive and I could make pictures of it and a video clip will follow
The 2 others are 10 years old and were preserved in formaline
1st one long siphon 30 mm with siphon extended
mentum and submentum seen from below
tip of antenna
hook on the anterior prolegs (3 or more ?)
end of the last segment and the siphon all extruded with 2 tracheal gills
the mentum with 14 teeth
Contaminata or another Ptychopterida ?
merci

Thanks to you Atylotus
I wish now present the 2 other organisms
I believe they are, based just on the mentum
Ptychoptera albimana and
Ptychoptera lacustris (Paraptychoptera)
I think I have to open new threads ?
