Thanks a lot Jere - unfortunately it wasn't collected, but I'm prerry sure I can find it there again sitting on Urtica or Filipendula leaves together with Thelaira nigripes which is abundant in that location.

I've collected a very similar one on July 10 on leaves of Corylus avellana. Size 7.5 mm. Maybe the pictures would help to confirm ID?

Hi Black.
I've just collected a couple of same males.
Your and my males are Hydrotaea diadolus - I'm sure, you can send images to Gallery - ventral spine on f3 + 2 very long updirected setas on apex of f2 are inmistakable!
Your first female has all nessesary characters of H.diabolus too, but in this case I'd prefer to see the specimens.
