Hello forum,

Does anybody have an ID for the mycetophilid midge (or is it a related family)?

Locality: Germany, Black forest, near Freudenstadt (900 m)

Habitat: on Prenanthes purpurea flower, edge of coniferous forest near a bog lake

Date 15th August 2012

Thank you and kind regards
Dirk

This group has been moved out of Mycetophilidae.

Keroplatidae, tribe Orfeliini, one of the genera with long mouth (Asindulum, Macrorrhynca, Antlemon).
