Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Limoniidae...

A final Limoniidae found yesterday near a stream in northern France:

I do not really have any idea of the genus. A suggestion ?

The wing looks like Limonia s. lat. (now several genera in Europe). Note 12 flagellomeres and only two branches of Rs reaching wing margin.

OK, I saw the criteria that you indicate.
Limonia macrostigma looks very similar, but I did not illustrate all possible species in France.
