It can be Sphecidae, Eumenidae, Masaridae...

Yesterday at my garden , pollinating Ruta graveolens flowers, Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. It sizes about 10-12 mm.

Cerceris Sphecidae is my guess. Nice pic :D Slainte Robert

By gaster color, it may be a female of Cerceris sabulosa, the most common Cerceris species in the mediterranean area. But there are some similar species, and the whole species group is difficult to identify.
