Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small parasitic fly

This little fly (ca 4 mm) was waiting at the nest entrance of some digger wasp, I suspect in order to parasitise the larvae of the wasp. Can the fly be identified? Bare sand patch in flowery grass land. Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

Senotainia (Sarcophagidae, Miltogramminae).

Most likely is Senotainia conica.
