Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Eristalis arbustorum male & female

Hi, I found these two Eristalis in Sweden and need some help with sorting them into species.
I hope somebody here can help :)

This is, as to colour of abdomen and mid tibia, most probably female and male of E. arbustorum. However, to get a reliable determination, the pictures should show several characters more clearly, e. g. face (black stripe or not) and arista (feathery or more or less bare). The arista were sadly a little hard to see on the films I made but here is (hopefully) a better picture of the face of the female. I do agree that it seems to be an E. arbustorum.
