Hello,
excuse me for my bad English and the bad photos.
I found this Diptera in Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, Essen, hatched from a larvae of Vanessa atalanta - 12th July 2015.
What is the species of this Diptera? Can anybody help me?
Maik

Hi,
Did these imagos emerge from the caterpillar???
Or weren't there yellow or white cocoons weaved together beside the caterpillar?
They look like Microgastrinae (Braconidae) to me, but I can't say more.

This is probably Cotesia vanessae (Microgastrinae). Gregarious parasitoid of many Vanessa/Aglais species in Europe.
