Hi!
I am a new member, I live in Switzerland, I need your help about a picture I realised some days ago in Champ-Pittet, a protected area nexte to Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland +46.78 +6,66 E). It's a Chironomus, but we can't go any further. Is it possible to go to the specie?
Thanks a lot for your help.

I cannot download the picture. The file is 197k, so it should be OK, but it refuses, why? What kind of settings do I have to change. (300 dpi, 1500x1200 197k)

It may just be the angle of the leg, but the fore metatarsus looks a bit short for
Chironomus. John Carr will enjoy the challenge! ;)

I don't know whether it's a
Chironomus.
