This "silverfish" is very common in all seasons (but more in winter) under the bark of Platanus x hispanica. Yesterday I saw some, but these photos are taked in February, in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, in the typical habitat of this species: opened artificial forest with big trees.

I never saw it out of the bark of Platanus.
I have the list of Aragonian Lepismatidae if you need it for identify.
The insects sizes 1'5 - 2 cm long (withouth cerci or antennae), as seen, are slightly bigger than Lepisma sachharina.
