Only picture I got of it, I'll post a head close-up in case the antenna is relevant
it's from southeasth Brazil, atlantic forest area

There are three genera of long-beaked crane flies:
Limonia (Geranomyia) with palps midway along the proboscis and 12 flagellomeres
Elephantomyia with palps at the tip of the proboscis and small tibial spurs
Toxorhina with palps at the tip of the proboscis and no tibial spurs
