Thread subject: Diptera.info :: White / colourless larva (of a midge?) => Dolichopodidae

Hi again,

I found this 7 mm long larva under a stone, which was lying on a sandy, loamy ground near a pond. Will it become a midge?

Dolichopodidae. The headcapsule (these black rods) are apically widened. This is typical for the family. further ID impossible.
