Hello,

I found these 7-10 mm long larvae under a piece of wood on an acre near forest yesterday (northwest Germany). Spontaneously I thought of Bibionidae, but that does not seem to be right. Any hint?

Sciaroidea. Bibionidae are lumpier and less shiny.
